Course Description Sponsored by Section of General & Community Pediatrics Designed for pediatricians, family practice physicians, and others providing primary health care to children, this course will review current scientific advances as they apply to daily practice. Participants will advance their diagnostic and therapeutic skills through this highly practical evidence-based review. Med Course Objectives At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to: • Implement current practice guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of pediatric obesity and fatty liver disease. • Identify the basis of common errors in judgment and decision making in medicine. • Illustrate how to link credits for lifelong learning. • Explain the role of routine pediatric care in children with sickle cell disease.
