INAAP Leads Statewide Coalition on Childhood Vaccination Issues

On June 30th, INAAP joined seven statewide healthcare and public health organizations to issue a joint press release and policy statement addressing Indiana's decline in childhood vaccination rates — from roughly 70% pre-pandemic to about 58% today, with kindergarten MMR rates now below the 95% threshold needed for community protection. The statement also drew on new national polling showing how misinformation is shaping parents' vaccination decisions, and reaffirmed that the AAP's immunization schedule remains the standard of care in Indiana.
